Iyron Nixon

lyron is a brand strategist & trend forecasting analyst with a focus on emerging markets and evolving consumer behavior. Since 2020, he has helped fashion labels, tech startups, aesthetic practices, & creative businesses grow through a blend of user research, trend forecasting, and cross-platform strategy.

His work focuses on understanding customer behavior, identifying trends, and turning insights into clear, actionable strategies. With a deep understanding of creative direction and market dynamics, lyron helps brands grow across platforms and communities through thoughtful positioning, storytelling, and experience design.

lyron holds a BA in Digital Marketing and an AA in Merchandising & Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM). Based in Los Angeles, he co-founded 9thconcept with a commitment to designing thoughtful, research-driven solutions for the next generation of brands.

Jo’el “Jo” Barnes

Jo is a business strategist and research consultant with a background in legal, financial, & corporate advisory. Since 2019, she has worked on complex transformation projects spanning business operations, data analytics, and interim management, with a focus on reducing risk and driving long-term strategic growth.

Her work alongside top economists and advisory teams has fueled a deep commitment to using market research, cultural insight, and digital strategy to help businesses transform. She is the founder and principal of 9thconcept, a research and development agency that equips emerging brands with the insight and structure they need to thrive, from brand positioning to operational clarity.

Certified in project management & holding a BA in Sociology with a minor in Statistics from Texas A&M University, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to brand building — rooted in analysis, intention, and execution.
